2012 Schedule
Autumn Sights and Sounds
Fall is our favorite time to be in Yellowstone’s back country. The summer crowds are gone, the trees have turned a brilliant gold; crisp, clear evenings are perfect for stargazing, and all around us are the sounds of bugling elk! The animals seem to know the park is less busy too. Come join us in September!
Wilderness Medical Education! August 31-September 3: "Gallatin River"
Limited to: 8 guests
This trip is designed for physicians, and other healthcare professionals who have an interest in medical issues in wilderness settings. The education program will be directed by the Medical Director of Yellowtone National Park and renowned wilderness physician Dr. Luanne Freer. The educational program provided on this trip will qualify for 10 hours of Category I Continuing Medical Education (CME).
Yellowstone provides an ideal setting for CME in wilderness medicine. We enjoy 4 full days of backcountry recreation and relaxation by the campfire during the educational presentations. This fall Gallatin River trip arrives at a perfect time in the season to listen to the elk bugling and the wolves howling. Fly fish the cold, clear pools and simply enjoy the changing of the seasons in this part of Yellowstone’s backcountry.
