This early season pack trip will highlight wildlife viewing, wildflowers and
fly fishing in the Lamar River drainage. This is an excellent pack
trip to get a quick, but fulfilling taste of Yellowstone’s Backcountry! A
great trip for families or those who enjoy a shorter ride. Be one of the first
people to explore Yellowstone's Backcountry this season.

Wildlife! July 13-18: "Mirror Plateau"

The Mirror Plateau, located above the Lamar River, is one of Yellowstone’s
true wilderness areas. The Mirror Plateau is summer range to vast herds of elk
and bison and their predators as well; namely the Druid and Mollie Wolf Packs and Grizzly
Bears. As part of a Bear Management Program, access is very limited in this
area. Don’t miss out on this rare opportunity, the Mirror Plateau pack trips
continue to be our most popular trip with great interest already generated
for the 2008 season.

A new progressive pack trip combining the spectacular scenery of the Snake River and Heart Lake areas. Remote thermals, fly fishing on the Snake River, float-tube fishing at Heart Lake and great day rides in search of wildlife all combine to make this a wonderful pack trip in Yellowstone’s southern region.

Wow! July 27-August 1 "Mirror Plateau"

If you want to see some spectacular wildlife in Yellowstone, join us on this pack trip. The Mirror Plateau continues to offer the "Best" wildlife viewing in all of our travels in Yellowstone. This Bear Management Area has very limited access, only open July 15-August 15, so book early to ride this truly remote area of Yellowstone. This is a unique pack trip as we ride mostly off-trail, entering from the Lamar River and exiting at Yellowstone Lake in the Pelican Valley.

Amazing! August 4-11: "Bechler Waterfalls"

The Bechler was new exploration for us and our guests as we traveled into the Bechler or "Cascade Corner" this past 2007 season. It was such a “hit” with the group that we are going back! Located in the Southwest corner of Yellowstone, this region is home to 21 of the Park’s 40 waterfalls. Great scenery, fly fishing, wildlife and did I mention WATERFALLS and more WATERFALLS! Our trip begins on the southern boundary of Yellowstone and exits near Old Faithful, this trip is Amazing!

Remote! August 15-23: "Thorofare/South Boundary"

The Thorofare pack trip travels into the most "remote" area in the 
lower 48 states. Trails traveled are much the same as those in "times gone by" when the mountain men and Native Americans traveled this area. This pack trip is for those who want a true "wilderness expedition". We will spend 9 days on the trail, using 5 different campsites and travel over 85 miles. Highlights include spectacular fly fishing, majestic views of the surrounding mountains, and grand vistas from the Lakes. Wolves, bears, elk and moose are waiting to be spotted. This trip was featured in the "Outside" magazine 2006. Join us for a true backcountry adventure.

Fishing! August 26-29: "Slough Creek"

Fly fish a "Blue Ribbon" trout stream! Enjoy the grandeur of the surrounding mountainsides that hold those seldom seen Mountain Goats. Day rides to Bliss Pass and Cutoff Mountain makes for a great combination of wildlife and fly fishing awaits you on this very enjoyable pack trip. The best and most challenging fly fishing trip we offer.

Heated Pools! September 1-8: "Bechler Waterfalls"

This will be our second trip into the Bechler for the season, as an early fall trip is the perfect time to be in the Bechler. The Bechler region, located in the southwest corner of Yellowstone is home to 21 of the Park’s 40 waterfalls. This trip boasts many great sightseeing opportunities as well as soaking in the pools heated by the thermal waters. Our guests were delighted with this rich and exciting region known as "Cascade Corner."

We accept all major credit cards and checks.
Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of deposit.
Please remember that deposits are nonrefundable, as we work on a very limited season.
Final payment for pack trips is due two weeks prior to trip. Final payment for day trips is due on day of ride.
