Human Development Retreats
Many of our guests comment about the "spiritual awakening" and clarity of thought they feel while in the Yellowstone backcountry. This makes our backcountry pack trips the perfect environment for you to hold a retreat.
To provide these trips, we partner with Gary Matthews, MS, CPA, CFP™, a mental health counselor, financial consultant, and change management consultant. Wilderness Pack Trips offers custom retreats integrated with our existing backcountry pack trips. Types of retreats available include:

Strategic Planning Retreats
Developing a strategic plan requires time and focus from key organizational leaders. In the "human world", opportunities to isolate and focus these leaders can be difficult to find. Interruptions and distractions guarantee failure in the strategic planning process. In the "real world" of the Yellowstone backcountry, interruptions and distractions do not exist. We are continually amazed at how well the Yellowstone backcountry facilitates consensus-building, negotiation, and problem solving.
Based upon information you provide about your organization, we will develop a custom program designed to help you develop your strategic plan development. We will facilitate you strategic planning process.

Relationship Healing Retreats
There are many who provide relationship healing retreats, but none in a place that compares in beauty and inspiration to Yellowstone National Park. Whether you are working through relationship issues, developing a new relationship, our retreats encourage meaningful and long-lasting change. We will develop a custom program based upon your relationship issues and goals. We will provide individual, couples counseling, and relationship-building activities.

Family Healing Retreats
A family healing retreat in the Yellowstone backcountry provides your family an opportunity to explore your family dynamics, build better relationships, and improve family functioning. These retreats can be emotional, intense and transforming. Unlike some family healing retreats that offer a "canned" program, we will develop a custom program based upon your specific goals and situation. Each program will consist of family counseling, individual counseling, and relationship-building activities.

Individual Healing Retreats

We will develop a program that utilizes the peace and spirituality of Yellowstone National Park with private counseling to help you make deep and long-lasting change. When doing an individual healing retreat, we seek to integrate the enjoyment of a great outdoor adventure with the satisfaction of gaining personal awareness that facilitates growth.
